iPod Shuffle - Main Part 2 (Microprocessor)

The second main part in iPod Shuffle is the microprocessor. Microprocessor is a semiconductor device consisting of electronic logic circuits manufactured by using either a large –scale (LSI) or very large-scale (VLSI) technique. The microprocessor is capable of performing computing functions and making decisions to change the sequence of program execution. The function of microprocessor in iPod Shuffle is to control the iPod’s function and randomly select the songs that we want to listen. Samsung ARM is the type of processor used in iPod Shuffle. There is also a circular area which has five tiny buttons. That is the minor part of iPod Shuffle. These are the buttons we press to choose songs when the iPod isn't taken apart. The left and right buttons are to skip or replay songs, the top and bottom buttons are to adjust the volume and the center button plays or pauses the music.
