3P - Plan, prepare and practise

Based on my friend, Chew Fern's comments, I had done a few corrections to improve my presentation skills. First of all, i create a new slide to introduce myself and what i am going to do. Then, i rearrange the slides accordingly. I don't have the ending for first. Later, i had created a slide for that. During the practice session, firstly, i present with a piece of paper note where i kept on refer to it. Then, i improve on it by just present the speech spontaneously. Besides, i had improve on my pronunciation skills as well. Then i had improve on my variety of tones and clarity that is loud and clear. Although i had a good facial expressions, but i improved on it as well. Last but not the least, i could see a great improvement on my presentation after the practice session. Thank you Fern.
That is all for now. Thank you.

The oral presentation

Hi everyone... I had choose the Legend speech for the oral presentation.
The legend who attracts me is Mother Teresa. She is well known as the 'Angel Of The Mercy'. Mother Teresa, was an Albanian Roman Catholic Nun with Indian citizenship who founded the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta, India in 1950 . Mother Teresa was such a nice, kind and caring person. Her dedication to help those who could not help themselves has been an inspiration to the world as well as to me. By 1996, she was operating 517 missions in more than 100 countries. She take care of 'the hungry, naked, homeless, crippled, blind, lepers' and all those people who feel unwanted, unloved, uncared for throughout society, people that have become a burden to the society and are shunned by everyone. Therefore, her care to the society has influenced me a lot.
That is all for now. Thank you.

Who is the best presenter? Who is the worst presenter? Why?

Hi everyone... In my opinion, i think Randy Paunsch is the best presenter. First of all, he started his presentation with a fact then he crack a joke. That was interesting. Besides, his slides are full of pictures rather than too many words. He had explain each and everything briefly. Moreover, his presentation is spontaneous where he never refer to any written short notes. He face the audience and speaked clearly which was the plus point for him 2 be choose as the best presenter.
I had learned few things from the video clips that i had watched. First of all, we must prepare slides that is interesting and not too many wordy. Then, we start the introduction of the presentation with something interesting like cracking a joke so that it can attract the audience. Then, face the audience while explaining each slides. The body language is very important for a good presentation. Finally, its best to end up the presentation by giving moral values or some advises which benefits everybody.
That is for now. Thank you.
