The flash type used in this Canon Powershot A610 is Built-in type. Its flash range at ISO Auto is 1.5ft-14ft in wide angle, 1.5ft-10ft in telephoto, 9.8inch-1.5ft in macro mode. The flash changes its angle according to the lens' focal length. Its flash functions are flash off, auto flash, fill-in flash, and red eye reduction flash, slow synchro, and rear curtain sync.
